Everyone who voted for the Joe Biden/Kamala Harris presidential ticket is rewarded with $2000 checks, and all others are restricted to $600. That way, those who denigrate and badmouth the people who didn’t vote for them will be happily vindicated in addition to the higher financial pat-on-the-back, not to mention the told-ya-so aspect of it, and the fiscal impact on government coffers will be a lot easier to absorb.
All Democrats will be happy, and all the rest will have to consider becoming Democrats because it’s the only right way to be.

There was a round of relief payments that went out back in spring or summer, the current argument is about a new round. It was supposed to have been decided way back in August 2020, but US politicians hate each other so much that they get to dangle the people as pawns in their blame-game tactics.
