Why can't the Inauguration be entirely VIRTUAL?

Probably because "someone"(s) would claim it was was only an illusion and that it never actually happened (like they do the moon landings).

So you would not be in favor of it then Shuhak? What do you think would be advisable under the circumstances in which we live (in fear)? If it were up to you to plan what would that Inauguration be like? Thank you for your reply! :)

No, no, no... I didn't say that.  In fact,. I'm all for it!  However, "you-know-who" would love to have it 100% virtual.  Then he could perpetuate his lies on how it's all fake, and his adoring throng would revel at his feet.

    A very difficult choice.

All your country's friends abroad are wishing you a peaceful and dignified Inauguration; and a real one even if with few people in the room, and them behind plastic screens and face-masks.

An on-line ceremony would be an obvious pandemic precaution, and understandable for security; but holding a physical occasion with suitable health measures shows the country robust enough to stand up to both threats.

They had temperature checks and were asked questions about covid'19 symptoms before being deployed.

So no possibility of the dreaded "asymptomatic" covid spreader....I thought that is why we all need these vaccines.
See how they change "the science" to suit them.
