I am being sarcastic. Trump's use of that non-word was the first I had ever heard of it. It is not in my Webster's huge unabridged dictionary m2c. If you can find it in your dictionary please give me the name of that dictionary so I can buy one! I think it is a word that a child would say not an adult and certainly not an educated adult. When I use the non-word "bigly" I am simply ridiculing Trump. It is bigly definitely. Not big league. Thank you for your reply! :)
I hear bigly not big league. He used it where anyone else would use huge as in bigly scandal. If his kids say it is big league I'm not going to argue with them. I still believe it is bigly because that is what I hear every time he says it. Different strokes. Thank you for your reply Karen! :)
I thought it was 'bigly' also, but it isn't. The kids now-a-days are using the phrase 'high key' or 'low key' to describe how much they want or like something. They will say something like "I high key want a bottle of water." I wasn't sure exactly what they were saying at first. Here is one article I found on what he is saying.
