  • I was offered a number of chances to smoke and I turned it down. One thing I've been always been good at is resisting peer pressure.

    A job with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company when I graduated high school.  I wound up taking a job with a law firm and it paid $25 a week more which, in those days, was a lot of money.
