I don't engage with the crazies who adore FOOTOO (a piece of crap). But "out there" in the real world? I read the newspapers and I watch the news. You don't?     I can easily ignore it here. I scan for certain words as I scroll down the page. I will not answer any of those questions. Lately I have been coming here when the news is on.

    Well as you know this is my world. I stay in my corner and operate within it's construct. I agreed to it long ago and I have no problem with it. Of course that means I don't know what goes on anywhere in the elsewhere of this site. I rather like people choosing to drop by though. Thank you for your reply e! :)

    I know I can go there. Just not ask questions there. i know I am not your only destination. I didn't mean to imply that. There are a bazillion conversations you can have with a bazillion different people about a bazillion different subjects. I wonder how many in what combinations? How would one calculate that?     I'll watch TV (but not the news), I'll go on Yahoo (but bypass the political items) or go on Facebook and visit with friends and family.

    I do watch/listen to the news 24/7. I read the papers. I don't F/B. I want to know what's going on. Everywhere. About everything. Thank you for your reply L! :)

    It drives Jim nuts sometimes. Repetition of the news from different angles. Some days I'm fixated on it as if I were hooked on a drug and can't kick it. Other days I stay away and avoid the subject. It's been 4 years of the same old script/drivel/lies. Front and center. Now it's shoved to the side on the edges. What is going on there is probably how to get back to the middle of everything. What fancy dancies will be employed to get attention again 24/7? I shudder to think of it.     Well, so far, Trump has been very quiet, but now that his trial is over and he wasn't convicted, I'm pretty sure we'll be hearing from him because the 2022 elections are right around the corner.  The nice thing about the TV is that, if you don't like what's on, you can either change the channel or turn it off. :)

    Yes, that's an extreme right wing outlet.  I have no way of knowing why people flock to these kinds of groups, or any extreme group for that matter.  it's like a cult which somehow, some way fills a need in these people.

    Because they want to belong and in order belong there are strict guidelines. What shows you are allowed to watch/listen...what you are allowed to read. What you are instructed to believe. They never go outside those limits. They are terrified of not belonging to something. Terrified of being loners on their own thinking independently. ANYTHING BUT THAT! So they are docile lambs who don't astray...BAAA BAAA BAAA! Thank you for your reply L! :)
