America is a Republic not a Democracy. Many notable Americans were VERY anti-Democratic. Are you satisfied with our Republic? Why?

They said America is a government of law, not  men. They said there are inherent dangers in Democracy. It can degenerate into a mobocracy and tyranny.

James Madison said "Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention, have even been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property and have in general been as short in their lives as they are violent in their deaths."

John Adams said "Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, murders itself. There was never a democracy that did not commit suicide"

Per Chief Justice John Marshall  "The difference between a balanced Republic and a Democracy is like the difference between order and chaos"

Per Lord Acton, "The one prevailing evil of a democracy is the tyranny of the mob"

James Russell Lowell said "democracy gives every man the right to be his own oppressor"

Ralph Waldo Emerson said "democracy becomes a government of bullies tempered by editors"

You live in a post Constitutional tyranny created by a despot and his sycophants in Congress on both side of the aisle who sat back and let it happen. Obama is the founding fathers worst nightmare, a president with dictatorial powers using executive fiat to advance is far left radical agenda. Never in the history of the United States has a president ignored the Constitution which such vigilance. This president is treasonous and was never held accountable for any of his unlawful actions due in large part to a willfully ignorant populace and a sychophantic compliant statist media.

America is in large part finished thanks to the last 32 years of global government initially instituted by the first Bush and hence slowly hoisted upon us by the ensuing three despots that followed him. The surveillance state is here, Hillary Clinton will carry out the final phases of the United States demise. When every part of government becomes corrupt there are no longer any checks and balances. When the press becomes an extension of a government/president the country becomes a banana republic. When a citizenry can no longer recognize truth we are lost. America was destroyed from within by massive corruption and a citizenry who sat by and let it happen because they became obsessed with the irrelevant. That is Obama's legacy, emphasizing the irrelevant and ignoring the things that are most important in life. Selective outrage is a pretty perverse way to look at life...
