Well, the GOP has a fundamental problem. They don't have enough Plutocrats to win elections, so they have to appeal somehow to their RAWF base (usually by playing up the Gunz, God, Gayz, and Abortion subjects). Trump merely highlighted this fundamental problem. Now that it's out in the open for everyone to see, I'm not sure if there's any going back for the GOP.
