Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» In the entire history of the Al Smith dinners in New York the only speaker ever booed was Trump. Last night. He is so special isn't he?
Neither of the two is my cuppa tea Autumn but of the two I prefer Hillary. Of course they do not remotely resemble the best of what this world has to offer. I know you say that with tongue-in-cheek. The world has much that is good, decent, positive in it and there are many people worth knowing. Good people. Honest people. Humble people. Caring people. It's just that the worst ones often get the most attention and for some bizarre and unknown reason the bad boys/bad girls are the most popular. That is one thing that I shall never understand. Why so many people prefer those who have so little to offer? It's like cheering for the bad guys and hoping the good guys will lose. What reasonable person would do that? The answer is no reasonable person would. We have an odd phenomenon in America...maybe everywhere. Clinging to, supporting and defending those who exhibit the very worst behavior/language/actions. Ignored are those who are less colorful but far more substantive. Why? Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday m'dear! :)
