One time i left a burning candle on the coffee table then fell asleep (er.. passed out), when i awoke the candle had tipped over and set fire to all the papers and junk i had on the coffee table. I don't know how it didn't set off the smoke alarm or even the sprinkler system. Could have also ignited some of the nearby upholstered furniture.
