I been using hearing aids for about the last 20 years and would never leave home without them. The newer models are good at eliminating background sounds so I can hear the person(s) I am talking with more clearly but I still have some trouble identifying spoken words if the person talks too fast and does not pronounce words clearly or has somewhat of an accent. When I first started wearing hearing aids it was like my hearing was restored to like when I was about ten years old.
That's excellent m'dear. Jim is having a very hard time. He is on his second set and still finds it difficult to get used to them. We have an appointment on Monday at Costco with the Hearing Aid specialist Jim has been going to for a few months. It came with a charger but the charge doesn't last all day long. I know the more you spend the better the product and he just didn't want to spend upwards of $4000 for hearing aids. He had a stroke in April 2019 that affected his hearing adversely. It has gotten worse so I sure hope he can find something useful finally! Thank you for your reply Kg and Happy Friday to thee! :)
