Do you know of any pet owners who truly believe their pets are humans, including treating them that way?

Not as in “they’re almost human”, “they’re just like people”, “they’re as close to human as possible”, but actually “my pet is a human being!”  Nor do I mean the ones who tout their pets’ behavior, habits, and character to be better than that of humans; that is an entirely different topic.

    I do not know of any specific cases, but I'm sure that delusion exists.

    The question clearly states that it doesn't mean people who say their dogs' character, habits, behavior, etc. is better than those of most humans!
