Agreed!! In full!! Many have tried (unsuccessfully) to counsel certain individuals on this obsession/hatred of Donald Trump.
The man gives idiots a bad name by association. Constantly ragging on him will only turn him into more of an underdog.
Edit: nevermind that this avalanche of obsession only annoys AM members (most of whom already can't stand Captain Combover) and drives them away from the site.

Do you think that's why I keep asking these questions about Trump StuB? No. Not at all. Not even close. If I don't ask these questions I shall either explode or implode. Every day questions badger me, pester me, nag me based on what The Trump did/said the day before. Asking questions is my way of venting. Whether anyone responds or not I shall keep asking them. It's cathartic for me. Answermug is my outlet as Answerbag was my outlet before. When I am bothered by things I bring them here and let it out and move on to the next thing. If others are also bothered and want to join in that is icing on the cake. But the cake I bake is for me. I don't ask questions for other people. I ask them for me because I have no choice and also hopefully just in case someone out there has answers because I sure as he** don't. So just ignore the questions m'dear if you are annoyed by them. They are going to keep coming, possibly forever, since Trump may never go away but will stay and sue and refuse to concede and fire up his supporters and incite them to riot and other acts of violence. Ya never know what's around the next corner or over the next hill. keep vigilant. Watch your back. Chaos is ahead. Woe is us.Thank you for your reply SB and Happy Monday to thee! :)
I'm no expert on mental hygiene, Rosie, but those I know who are would insist that feeding an obsession is counterproductive. The problem isn't that you need to vent, but that your hatred of the man is all consuming. You're also setting up a situation in which people will actually feel sorry for Trump. If that's your goal, have at it!
But alas. All this has been explained to you before. :-( I believe you're a good person, Rosie, but you hide it well.

You need to learn what a true obsessed person behaves like before you point the finger elsewhere. Find a new topic besides Rosie's "obsession". Find a new thing to talk about besides admonishing someone who is not even paying one iota of attention (nor should she). Obviously she is getting your goat. That is fun to watch.

More like casually concerned. I find obsessive behavior fascinating--but also sad in people I tend to like.

Obsession: an unhealthy fixation on a person or object. (I also don't want to see Trump win--a prospect which is made all the more likely by the torrent of hatred poured out on the man.)

Indeed. Obsession/obsessive behavior is infectious. Remember when I said you were becoming the thing you hate, Sharonna? This is what I meant. You're responding to hatred and intolerance with MORE hatred and intolerance. When it consumes you, remember this conversation.
For Rosie this isn't a conversation. It's a soliloquy. She's telling herself how badly she hates trump, and she's polluting the rest of us with radioactive loathing.
I could never vote for the man for ethical reasons, but in the unlikely event that Trump wins I WILL be laughing my ass off! I know schadenfreude is a bad thing, but I shall not be able to help myself.
