You can establish a STANDARD for non-living things. Mechanical electric electronic. But human beings?

How can you establish a standard when the variety is infinite and unique? Something suffers from doing that. What?

That which would suffer from trying to set trade-style standards on humans, would be basic humanity.

When I was a youngster we did have standards set for us. In school, at home, in life. Respect your elders. Never lie but if you do and are caught admit it. Be polite. Study hard and finish what you start. You can TRUST the police to help you. You can trust the clergy to care for you and guide you. Obey the rules. Obey the laws. I don't know when it happened but none of that applies today. FOOTOO didn't invent it but he surely expanded it and made it viable to insult attack and LIE. The opposite of the standards we had as children. Vile evil venal greedy selfish treasonous traitorous corrupt. Sad that. Thank you for your reply Durdle! :)
