The least accomplished among us often brag and preen and victory lap and LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE. Why is that?

    The braggarts are too acutely aware of not achieving anything or matching their heroes, and over-compensate for it.

    Which intensifies and magnifies their inadequacies proving the opposite of what they want to have people think. The fact that they do not realize that is shocking to me. What is that saying? "It's better to keep quiet and have people think you are ignorant than open your mouth and prove ita'. Well that works here too. Thank you for your reply Durdle and Happy Monday to thee and thine! :)
