Spunky answered a question of mine with a quotation that President Harry S. Truman said in 1952. Here is one line from it. Like/dis?

"Social is their name for almost anything that helps all the people."

To whom does the "their" refer? Guess.

    The quote is actually "Socialism ..." not "Social."

    I think the reason this happens, and it happens to me, is that we know what we want to say, so even when we read it and it's wrong, we think it's right.
