Things that caused wonderment in us as children, like fireworks and Christmas lights... what would it take to make those things fun again?

I never thought they stopped being fun.  I love fireworks........seeing them; I'm not interesting in actively lighting them anymore.  Christmas lights are joyful as well.

Never really did enjoy fireworks, but I still love Christmas lights!

I'm amazed and delighted by nature and it's beauty almost every single day. I feel extremely grateful to find wonderment and joy in life's simplest pleasures like nature, a child's laughter, puppies, the sun rising or setting.

What it takes to be able to find this... I don't think it's the same for everyone, and sadly, far too many never do. For me, it took some really hard lessons about life and loss, about being grateful for what you have and not taking things or people for granted. Most of all, I had to learn that I can own my feelings, rather than let them own me.

Great question, JA! Thanks again for all you do for us here!
