OMG! HOW LUCKY are we? Headline is "A new surprise for California...population loss." Do you know how long I've WISHED FOR THAT?

It's a start.  A mere pittance of what needs to be and maybe it will be. One can only hope and wish and pray for it.

The alleged causes?

Pendemic
Declining immigration
Declining birthrates

Let's keep it up keep it up keep up. No state NEEDS 40 MILLION people in it. I wish them all good luck and hope they never want to come back but find their joy elsewhere. I mean they 49 choices!

What would be a good population for our state? Well we've a very long state so there's lots of room. Thin it out to oh I don't know...10 to 20 million? More elbow room and the freeways? OMG how lovely would that be? Less jamming and slow going and accidents and stress. What's not to love?

So are ya planning on leaving California any time soon? If I GODSPEED. Now the only way this won't work is if people come here in droves because of everything we have to offer. I say don't allow any new people to come in. They had their chance and that door is shut.

Is it Unconstitutional? I dunno. I'll ask.

    You know, if the state population decreased by, say, 25%, they would have to raise taxes.  Less people won't mean less expenditures.  This state loves to waste money - and a majority of that money comes from taxpayers.  Less people means they will need to find more money so they can keep on wasting it (plus at least 10% more per year).

    How come the stupid drives aren't the ones leaving?  I, for one, wouldn't miss them one bit!!!  But, alas, they keep multiplying - exponentially.

    Hahahahahahahaha! How come indeed! Well as a fellow Californian I very much value your view m'dear. All the slings and arrows other states throw at us is to be expected. JEALOUS is never pretty. They think we want more and more here when any sane person wants the opposite. But I'm thinking about this bigly now that you bring it up Shuhak..."Less people means they will need to find more money do they can keep on wasting it..." OMG and AARRGGHH!     That is very unkind of you. I wonder why you chose that avenue of response. Perhaps you can figure out why your first and only comment involves grave danger. Thank you for being honest and showing us your true colors. I won't forget. I don't wish harm to come to any of them. I just want them GONE. You wish harm to come to us. Why is that? And if you say "I was only joking" I detest and despise that brand of "humor". Do it on your own time not mine. Take it elsewhere. Others may find it quite awesome. I don't.
