How can they claim we not close or even achieved herd immunity in US? Why is Fauci claiming it may never happen?

We have had according to the CDC 114.6 M cases.  (580K deaths) so figure just 114 M cases....People with natural immunity.

150 M vaccinated (at least 1 vaccine, 105 M fully)

150M + 114 M= 264 M people with immunity

That is on 68 M short of the entire population (332 M)  

This amounts to 79.5% of the population with immunity for the entire country of the USA.
