Knowing someone's name (first name only) makes things friendlier. When you can greet someone by name and they can greet you by name a barrier disappears. Do you think it is a way to break through the barrier of the "other"? If you know someone's name you are no longer a stranger nor is he/she? I'd wear a name tag and be happy to do so. Would you or would you be appalled and refuse? Why?
