No, I think little of MOVIE STAR (as opposed to "actor") Tom Cruise.

There is no such thing as watching too much Spinal Tap.

Well, no there is not any such thing as too much Spinal Tap.  Agreed.  That is true, but they are making fun of the type of rock star poser that makes you embarrassed to watch, because they take themselves seriously.   This trainwreck of a movie makes Tom Cruise perfect for the role.

OS think about Joe S. and then watch Tom Cruise.  I rest my case.

    OK, I watched the video.

That was...oddly genius in its horribleness.. The levels of meta going on there were a sight to behold....;-D..

I cannot compare it to much worse, that is the truth.  If he was KIDDING?  This would have been epic in it's hilariousness.  Instead it is even funnier now.

He was in Tropic of Cancer?  Really? The Henry Miller novel?  Well, the guy does do some GOOD work, but this is not his JAM.   Too old and too out of touch with being a musician.    He thinks he is GOD.  I swear.
