If you are among those offended by the plethora of political questions why not avoid them? How can what you avoid offend you?

While I am not offended, I am for the most part not interested in joining political discussions. Avoiding answering these questions is fine, but it's difficult to avoid having to read through them in order to find other content when a single member posts 30 or more of them back to back and dominates the questions page.   Perhaps if the user had a unique avatar, it would be easier to skip over them entirely. Just a thought.

I wholeheartedly agree.  Just because my interests don't lie with politics, it doesn't mean they offend/annoy me at all. IMO, they are constructed intelligently and it shows you have a great interest in politics and a whole lot of knowledge as well.  The ones that do meet the criteria for annoying/offensive (although that's subjective I suppose) are those mindless, ignorant, repetitive questions that are repeatedly asked.
