We all know the boring inspiriational story of George Washington chopping down the cherry tree and admitting it to his dad. Not lying. BUT WHY DID HE CHOP IT DOWN IN THE FIRST PLACE???

It is a bit ironic this story about being truthful is itself a fabrication.
