I like and appreciate it a lot more now than when it was most popular. It came in right during and after the 50's garbage and the 60's garbage bubblegum. It kind of got in that mix and I didn't pay all that much attention because I was totally enmeshed in the progressive ACID rock prophets of the 60's. I wasn't into standard beats and typical verse chorus verse methods of all music on the radio up until that time. Now I see how talented these artists were and really like to hear this stuff in retrospect.
Marvin Gaye looks like a respectable professional but he and his family were much more dysfunctional than even Kurt was on herion. At least his dad didn't shoot him.
Most of the YouTube videos of this one have annoying adverts on them, but I managed to find one that hasn't, and it's the full-length album version (11 minutes long).
Yes, I do. Especially these two. These are the all-time very best Motown songs ever. They never fail to put me in a good mood every time I hear them, no matter how miserable or annoyed I may have been feeling previously. :)
