I like to watch gymnastics. She is quite the phenom, but I missed her performance. Did you know that the origin of the word gymnastics is ancient Greek 'to excersize naked'?
It was a clip of the "floor" exercises I saw and she is simply AMAZING! . Did they? That musta been a crowd pleasure! Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday to thee and thine! :) I wonder why it isn't GYMNOSTICS rather than gymnastics? Language is puzzlling isn't it?
IF athletes performed naked exposed bare I think the crowd should have been required to strip and be naked exposed bare too. Don't you?

I didn't see her performance recently, but I have seen her. There's a video on the internet of that gymnastic feat that no one else has ever done. There's also one that shows a performance of some triple flip that she does and it's in slow motion - just amazing. She was interviewed recently on 60 Minutes, I think, and she's quite articulate and level-headed.
Well I saw a clip of her doing "floor" exercises yesterday I think and it was breathtaking. She did things that seem to be impossible! Thank you for your reply L! :)

We're enjoying the heck out of today...projected high 85. Tomorrow too. Then it starts climbing so we will deal with that then. Thank you for your reply L! :)

Well dearie here I be. Our 8day forecast starting with today, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 109 106 105 106 105 102 98 93 Yesterday it reached 108. I trust you're doing much better heatwise than we are! :)
We are doing much better. We've been in the upper 60s-low to mid 70s all this week. We've had a couple of cloudy days and a bit of rain, but no soaring temps. Much happier when the thermometer stays und4er 75.
By the way, 60 Minutes this past Sunday interviewed Simone Biles. She is a delightful young woman and very smart as well as very talented. You would enjoy the interview.
