Assuming there's nothing wrong with your memory and you're honest then you're aware of your Achilles' heel/failings/doings. Are you?

If you have a past that includes sexual misconduct, betrayal  or criminal activity would you attack anyone for what you are guilty of having done? Why would you do that? How does that make sense? Doesn't it invite investigations of YOUR past? How is that helpful to anyone?
