  • Hi Rosie,  If you asked me this yesterday I would have emphatically said neither.  Today, after watching and hearing Trumps speech at the opening of his new hotel...I can now say that Trump IMO is the more empathetic of the 2...by a large margin.

Hi there old friend! Long time since we chatted. Nice to hear from you. I missed Trump's speech.  What did he say that caused you to think so? Thank you for your reply Cruiser and Happy Friday! :)

@Cruiser -- Please explain exactly how Trump displays empathy in his speech.

His repeated theme is "I'm great! Everyone else sucks!"

That constitutes "empathy" to you? This post was edited by OldSchoolTheSKOSlives at October 28, 2016 8:34 AM MDT

  • My answer was to pick between the 2.  In  Trumps speech he talks openly to helping the middle class who we all know has been largely forgotten the last 8 years.   That at least shows to me a modicum of empathy.

@Cruiser -- I submit Trump could start "helping the middle class" by ACTUALLY PAYING THEM WHAT HE OWES THEM...

...instead of having to be sued to pay up.

Similarly, if Trump is actually worried about the loss of "good American middle class jobs", he could have his products made in the USA. Trump Vodka was made in Holland (as opposed to my favorite brand, Hangar 1, which is distilled in Alameda, CA). Trump's signature clothing line is made in Mexico and China. Does that show "empathy", or merely pursuit of profit?
