I don't know if we were ever THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. But we could pretend we were. Why can't we pretend now? What happened to us?

The reason we are the way we are now is because pretending is empty.   With no sincere, firm foundation, how do we stay united no matter what?  Ask yourself that one.

It is like marriage.  Could you go on forever pretending?  Many people try and many people wind up dumped and alone.   Or leaving.  Or putting up with fighting, even beating each other up.  (war)   Our guts minds and hearts do not have the energy to live a lie.   If we manage to just exist in this prison existence, then we will probably die of some insidious disease caused by our ability to block the inner stress boiling inside.  

We make jokes about it on here a lot, but we all understand what extreme mental agony is on some level.    You get used to it as a rule.  We are incredibly strong animals. 

When you lie to yourself about what you think and believe and behave as IF everything is totally acceptable?  You get challenged.   Time is a huge challenge.  Living in a country that robs you blind and lies to you through its leaders and just makes you work harder and harder for the money, does not make for loyal citizens.  The best propaganda that the good old USA can come up with is the lame lie of "we are a lot better than the rest of the world".   Well, is that enough?

Would you stay with a boring user of a husband who gives little in return but words because you are worried that there is nothing better to compare him to?    I would rather move and shake and cause some kind of reaction.  Anything is better than a soulless existence.

America tried rebellion in the 60's.    They almost got it together, dodged the draft,  and eventually the greed and the organized crime disguised as big business took over everything.

So, do we want a leader who knows big business and its pitfalls and its many possibilities to get where we want to go, or do we want someone who is corrupt and knows business.   I mean REALLY corrupt.   STUPID corrupt.

That's where we are right now.  To me, Hillary is a savvy business woman who tries to make decisions that are practical (YES FOR HER) and Trump is a salacious crook who does not know anything about politics but thinks his crafty business acumen will suffice for his running anything and getting away with whatever he is trying to hide.
