Can a woman intuitively "know" the morning after that she has been fertilized, or that her man had "missed"?

This question is inspired by RandyD's query given at http://www.answermug.com/groups/topic/view/group_id/53/topic_id/1838/tab/60239 and by the opening statement of Oriana Fallaci's insightful book "Letter to a child never born"

Actual conception can occur up to a week later, so that makes it trickier, but yes. My youngest planned and timed based on ovulation and I woke up the next day knowing I was pregnant. I'm sure there will be some naysayers in the group, but I knew.

  • I'm so glad you made that last word stand out.

Unfortunately, my mind can't get rid of the erroneous image.

Never thought about that one. Maybe not the morning after but soon after, yes.

  • I've never "known" one way or the other; but my late friend did thrice, and all three times she was right.
