Were dates/men you met online more wish washy than men you met in real life/through friends /bar etc.? Were they about the same to guys you already knew or met at bar, or?
No. Certainly they could fit that description...as could guys you meet offline, but they are not necessarily so. The people behind the keyboards do actually live out in the 3D world too.
I personally never met a date online. But I had a friend some years ago meet the love of her life from a social site we were all on. Sadly, he succumbed to brain cancer before they ever married, but they did enjoy a few years living together.
It broke my heart to get word from her last year that he had died. I considered him a friend when I was on that site too.
But yes, how bittersweet they had that time together. I know she never regretted leaving her home thousands of miles away to go live with him. She stopped at my house and stayed with me for a weekend on her trip to be with him. It was a very exciting time.
Wow such a bittersweet story.. I'm so sorry he passed :( I guess there are some guys out there who are caring and consistent online as well as 3d ....so happy she had those happy moments.
