India suing WHO Doctor for contempt of court causing increases in Covid deaths. A route for US as well to rid the misinformation?

Doctor is accused of spreading misinformation casting doubt on the effectiveness of the drug 

Ivermectin.

    I wonder how much doctors were paid by the drug companies to ignore the cheap tried-and-true older drugs like ivermectin and hydrocholoraquin.

    I don't know if they were paid or threatened. 
    I know some had job threatened and censored on social medias.

    It is being used and very successfully in India.  

    Many drugs have off label uses.

    It is also being used to fight cancer.
