It's 'Let's go extreme' time. Should the statues of all the US founding fathers be removed if they owned slaves?

We should also include memorials and monuments.

These are part of our history, like it or not.  Removing them doesn't change anything.  Yes, slavery of any kind is abominable, but the one thing no one ever seems to speak about is that no one in America could have bought slaves and brought them here if someone on the other end hadn't been willing to sell them.  How is it that the former African tribal chiefs are never excoriated for selling their own?  Why isn't restitution being sought from Africa?

Why?  The bible told them to.  Leviticus 25:44 ;  "As for you male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among  the nations around you."

Should we also rename all cities and states that bear their names?

Yes...and all folks whose names are Washington and Jefferson should change theirs, too.

I’m still waiting for these “cancel culture” dweebs to completely stop using any and all money that bears the names and likenesses of people on their hate lists. Hypocrisy, or irony?

    :(

Other than Jackson, what is wrong with the others? Anthony? What did she do, other than be on the ugliest coin in US history?

Don’t ask me. I’m sure the “everything is racist” crowd and the “everyone in history wronged me” crowd will find something on which to base a baseless complaint.

OK. Anyone with German ancestors should be shunned for what was done to the Jews in WWII. The entire human race should be cancelled.

And, we need to rename Jefferson Airplane.  Let's not forget them.

What about the Ancient Egyptians and the Romans, they owned slaves.  Cancel them as well.

Sure ... but let's hold every memorial and building to account for any wrongs those it memorializes committed.

The Supreme Court and Congress ruled that slavery was okay, as well.
So let's tear down those buildings.

Salt the earth of every former plantation, where slaves were owned.

Dig up every military cemetery, as the US has used its military to oppress other nations for hundreds of years.

Give the land back to the indigenous peoples who had settled there.
Ship all the "immigrants" back to the nations of their ancestors (and then we'll start the process there, as well).
