I didn't know there are furlongs in a video game.  Huh.  I guess I should pay closer attention.

    26 fortnights / year.

Orbit 93 000 000 miles in round numbers. 8 furlongs per mile.

    93 000 000 X 8 X pi / 26  = 89 858 000 Furlongs per Fortnight.

    That right?

    If so, happy now? :-)

It's much easier to look up earth's orbital velocity and look up a converter site. I am very lazy. (Oh, that's not correct.)

I have on my computer a stand-alone converter someone at work gave me years ago, and oddly, it does contain furlongs but only in its distance units menu; not in the speed menu! It's very convenient - no need to switch off Google's blasted cookies and ferret through the Internet just to convert a couple of numbers.

I wonder who uses the furlong at all now. It lingered in horse-racing quite recently, in England at least, but I don't know if it still does.

The Statute Mile and Yard are still the only legal road distance units in the otherwise-metric UK; but I've noticed our railways still use the Mile and the Chain (and I think Yard).

Which part is not correct, his answer or your statement that you’re lazy?
