    The issue is not one of "infection", but of preventing severe-symptoms. Very few vaccinations offer immunity to "infection". Most vaccinations are designed to provide protection against the Effects of infection.

    We get infected by the same illnesses all the time; that is the whole point of having immunity (protection) against previous infection, which vaccinations are designed to mimic.

    The following are SEPARATE matters:

    Most vaccinations:

    Designed to prevent "Immunity" - meaning prevention of infection: NO (see further below).
    Designed to prevent "Immunity" - meaning protection against severe-symptoms: YES.
    Vaccine side-effects - Consult your doctor.
    Effectiveness - means how well does it work to prevent severe-symptoms.
    Safety - Consult your doctor.
    Which vaccine - Consult your doctor.

    A study found the Sinovac vaccine inferior to the Pfizer vaccine if that tells you much.

    The use of the word "inferior" is strange. One would not expect the results to give identical figures for every vaccine but that does not mean one is superior to the other. What matters on the efficiency level is if they prevent serious illness.
