I don't name-call as a rule. He is beneath contempt. So are the powers that be in the GOP. I guess you would not want me to call Hitler or Stalin a name either? How about the murderer Mao? A pig is a pig.
I do agree with your appraisal that the supporters of Trump and the nay-sayers should not be fighting that way. Agreed. Trump? He deliberately discarded his positive human qualities long ago, sold his soul down the river, for a few more moments of fame and dishonor. Anything to be in the limelight.

The reason why the politically obsessed can't see that they are the same as those they are insulting is very obvious to me, and you already know the answer because it is there in your own question. They are "obsessed". That word says it all.
