    If we want to leave this planet, it is.
    Anyone who subscribes to the saying "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" should realize the wisdom of spreading our species to other planets.
    Otherwise, just one cosmic accident could send us the way of the dinosaur.
    Allegedly, humanity has already survived a couple disasters that reduced our population to under 50,000 individuals across the globe.
