    I still like reading the newspapers.  I write checks when I'm sending a gift to one of my great-nieces or great-nephews for their birthday or as a wedding gift or paying a bill that comes due only sporadically.

    No.  I gave up newspapers at the beginning of the COVID lockdown (carrier might deliver a germ).  

    I haven't written a check in years.  I prefer instead to "work the system" (make it pay me).
