Deaths are not tripled.  Deaths are down 7% from last week.

So, it's OK if people are in the hospital for months on ventilators as long as they don't die.  Got it.

That the stat we have been measuring since the beginning. That is the stat they publish.  So that is what we will be comparing.

And most of the cases are not in the hospital.

Tell that to the hospitals who find themselves overwhelmed with Delta variant patients, most of whom have not been vaccinated.  I wonder if there's a correlation between low vaccination rates and hospitalizations.  Hmmm ...

Given that CDC has quite tracking breakthrough covid cases unless someone is hospitalized or dies....we will not really know.

    Ask them.

They have announced that in May 2021 they stopped tracking breakthrough cases that did not lead to hospitalizations or death.

I've never been on a ventilator but I understand it can be painful.

I'm sure it is - they have to put it down your throat.

    I don't kow what you're reading, but

    "Deaths

The current 7-day moving average of new deaths (223) has increased 9.3% compared with the previous 7-day moving average (204). As of July 21, a total of 607,684 COVID-19 deaths have been reported."

Use who you like.  I do appreciate the data to compare.

Ypu asked me where I was getting my info. I told you and posted the link.  Then was simply stating why I would trust Worldometers over the CDC.
