    Encourage them to get sober.  It is all one can do without any power to insist they get clean.

    I think they all come equipped with earplugs blinders and thus are beyond reach. You cannot encourage people who refuse to listen to you. Yet people do. How successful they can be I don't know. I know when I'm licked. I no longer bother trying. Thank you for your reply BB and Happy Saturday to thee and thine! :)

    Thank you for the implied "atta girl" BB. It's kinda frustrating of course but well what are ya gonna do? They will not listen they will not look they will not see and they absolutely are terrified of doing so. So they don't.   • You don't waste your time.  Hopefully, they'll learn when they get burned from their bad choices.  That's the only way some people learn, if they ever do.
