Well, you can't of course "fix" what is not broken, but the attempt to do so often then does break it!

Exactly! You want to change something to benefit you and your ilk you simply say it's broken. Then they proceed to break it. That is exactly what is going on vis a vis the partisan  politics in an unnamed country. Things worked just fine. Then a breaker of fine things got the power and with that power he wrecked as much as he could until he was kicked out. The problem? He smashed things to smithereens. He annihilated them in a way that permanently prevents there ever being stability dependability goodness. And of course he lusts after regaining power so he can finish the job. Which he may well get things being what they are. Now that is very comforting to some. Homo Saps come in different varieties of strengths intellects emotions character. Who will win? The ones who cheat?
