Yes, but on my land-line. I couldn't hear it, of course. If it was important, they can leave a message.

Can't recall that I did recently but a few days ago I was staying home all day to rest my bones a bit, then I went out for half an hour and left my phone on the charger; when I got back I noticed that I missed 3 phone calls from the hospital and the number of the person calling is the hospital switchboard and cannot trace the number from where I was called and I do not have answering service. They never tried to call again, I had been going to the hospital for tests due to a blood clot in my lung. Getting calls just when I am not available!
I am still alive thanks, so I guess there is nothing bad happening. I started taking blood thinners and have ultrasounds done as well as CT scans.i will be fairly occupied with Dr. appointments doing tests and stuff for about the next 2 weeks. All is well so far.
I have gotten calls on my landline while in the shower. They leave a message. If they call my cell, it could be weeks before I find it - I only turn that on when I want to make a call. The messages I've gotten on my cell phone lately were robo calls. I got three text messages from the RNC to the effect that I agreed to make contributions to Trump. I texted back, "F*** Trump." They texted that they would unsubscribe me.
This is the first time in all the time I've had a phone in my name that any political group has called. I only wish it had been a real person on my landline so I could have said it and slammed the phone down. :)
