    Not progress.  Decimating our forests is one of the contributors to the heating up of the planet.

    Well at least sometimes the circle of life includes turning into a beautiful  butterfly before death.  In my area  they are planing on re zoning a lot of agricultural land into comercial land in a couple of years. So developers have been buying up that land and sitting on it for a couple of years and make a fortune when they get to develope it. The first thing they do is cut down every tree on the lot and sell then. That is a lot of trees that could be turing carbon into oxagine for 2 more years. Cheers!
