    I think it is BS and it is a way to sugar coat the problem. People who call it that probably have never know the pain of being hungry. Cheers!

    I'm with you 100% on that Nanoose. Well when amn't I? But that's besides the point. The cavalier way with which so many deal with the tragic circumstances of so many peoples' lives is criminal. If language were the only awful that would be one thing. But it is political drivel do nothing LIARS coupled with rampant WHITE RACISM in the US that is doing us in. Some idiot pol said 90% of unvaxed were African Americans who vote Democrat so the Democrats are to blame for the upsurge. EVEN THOUGH it happens in RED STATES where WHITE RACISTS rule. Go figger.     Food insecurity does not necessarily mean starving. 

    It means when a person/family does not know for certain they will have food but likely have food currently. Or the food they have is not as healthy as it could be. This post was edited by my2cents at August 22, 2021 11:38 AM MDT

    Food security definitely doesn't mean starving.  It means they have food and are reasonably sure they will have food in the future.
