I choose my path (via my actions and/or inactions).  A path isn't sentient, therefore it has no ability to choose anything.

To what do you attribute coincidence serendipity good luck? They are abstract and not sentient either but well there you are. Shakespeare's character said something about that to Horatio I think. There are more wonders in heaven and earth than are dreampt of in your philosophy. I'm sure I screwed that up so I will Google. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. I'll be back with the EXACT quote.

    Hamlet says it to Horatio

There are more things in heaven and Earth Horatio than are dreamt of in your philosophy

There is a lot more "out there" to discover. There are beliefs we will find out need to be adjusted. I think our knowledge is just the tip of a very large iceberg. This post was edited by RosieG at August 25, 2021 11:58 AM MDT

I attribute some to God's divine province.
