Don't forget what "F-O-R-D" stands for - "Factory Ordered Road Disaster", as well as, "Fix Or Repair Daily".

I did not know that Shuhak. So FORD isn't a very dependably safe brand then? I think that model truck is a best seller but I don't know for sure. There are so many choices out there. If money were no object is there a particular car/truck you'd like to own? I think I['ll ask. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to thee and thine. :)

I wouldn't buy one.  They seem to keep having "problems".  I have my suspicions as to why, but I could be wrong.

They look like monstrous huge towing vehicles. Good if you have 40ft motorhome or something. Or if you own a cattle ranch. You don't do you? Thank you for your reply Shuhak! This post was edited by RosieG at August 27, 2021 6:27 PM MDT

Nope, no cattle ranch or motorhome.

My brother in law likes fords.  He just got a big ford truck so they can tow the trailer they're going to buy.

Jim sister Jo(the dearest darlingest person you'd ever want to meet and spend time with, rest her soul) and her husband had an SUV they could tow their motor home with years ago. They lived in Sun Valley, Nevada ...a suburb of Reno which you probably know but had a place in Arizona they'd spend time at when it got cold in northern Nevada. She LOVED the heat! AARRGGHH! They also had a dune buggy thingy. We visited them once there and while it would not be our cuppa tea there was a group of folks, all fun-loving and friendly, all with those dune buggies and every day they'd meet to play! Now this was all retirees mind you! They were like a bunch of kids and it warmed our hearts to see that kind of total enjoyment of life. Sigh. That seems so very long ago. Thank you for your reply Shuhak.
