Is there a way to download videos from iPhone to a computer?

    As far as I know, you can just plug the phone to the computer and transfer the file.
    I've been able to do that with my friend's iphones.

    Do I just plug-in iPhone to a computer or LapTop using phone cord, then do I search a video I want to watch that’s on the phone, then do I tap the download button just below that, then is there probably few more steps I have to do on that till the new video gets to the computer/laptop?

    All I do is plug the phone to the computer > Use File Explorer to open the video folder on the phone > (drag and drop) copy the video file from the phone to the computer.

    I searched in my phone-showed I probably need to download the File Explorer App, I loaded it & opened it up, then it’s not showing any YouTube/Video folder:
