A friend shared with me this particular recording of Gorecki's Symphony No. 3: '"Symphony of Sorrowful Songs" -- the very first time I listened, without knowing anything about it, brought me to tears of beauty.
The more I discover about this symphony, the more I'm thankful I've heard it.
