Not child abuse. Sometimes children do not want to take the medication. Or in this case a test.
My youngest even as a baby was awful to try and give him medication. I would literally have to sit in the floor, placing my legs over both his arms and legs. And still my husband would have to hold his head. The baby would still manage to spit 1/2 of it out.
It looked awful but it was necessary and he was not ever hurt. Not giving him needed medicine would be the abuse.
