Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Trump poll watchers will have plenty of people watching them. The Watcher becomes the Watchee. The sniper becomes the target. Do they know?
I attended a rally for a previous presidential candidate. The Secret Service posted agents with rifles up on the roof of the building. I felt 100% safe being in a crowd of like-minded people.
Is that normal for rallies bh? I attended political rallies when I was younger but not for decades. I'm way too old for that now. I don't remember anyone being armed anywhere but I am notoriously unobservant of my surroundings. It's a family joke in fact, it's so bad. I don't know if that would make me feel safer or really nervous, ya know? Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday. The problem isn't being with like-minded folks. The problem is when unlilke-minded folks show up armed and ready to rumble. :(
Any Presidential candidate has tons of Secret Service protection. They have metal detectors at those rallies. They also have idiots from the opposing side, they can be very obnoxious and sometimes they are moved away from the nice, well behaved folks.
