At what age do you think most people expect children to stop asking questions out of politeness?

    I never had that problem with my children, but I would expect it to cease at around 12 years old.

    It's a fine line to walk with KIND, bright, curious children. 

    (Coming from someone whose most frequent answer is 'why'...).

    When they realize they are being purposely annoying with them.  

    I think the age is about 7-10 depending on the child.

    Oh, I didn't mean the "Are we there yet?" or "Why can't I go?" sort of questions. I meant genuine, innocent curiosity.

    I do not think they ever stop. They learn from experience which topics are off limits with whom.
