I wonder how all those who died or were maimed fighting for their country feel about Comrade Trump demeaning it?

How do all the families of those who died or were maimed feel about  Comrade Trump putting down the military and the country? Did they die in vain for something that was not worth the sacrifice? What does Trump know about sacrificing anything for his country?

  • As a veteran myself, I'd rather have "Comrade" Trump covering my back that "Benghazi Hillary". One of the hallmarks of the left is that they have a deep abiding concern for veterans in an election year, yet they're willing to let them languish the rest of the time in a shameful disgrace called the Veteran's Administration. By the way, let's not forget that it is the left that refuses to back our men and women in harm's way by undercutting and deriding them on the home front while scaling back and reducing our military capability. Feigned concern over our troops as they are used as a political pawn is beyond disgusting. I'll never condone such crass hypocrisy.

    @PP51 -- Given that the United States spends nearly as much on its military as THE REST OF THE WORLD COMBINED, I don't think "reducing our military capability" is much of an issue.

    Speaking as someone on the political left, I have such a deep and abiding concern for our military personnel that I don't want to put them in harm's way unless there is a genuine existential threat to the nation. That hasn't occurred since 1945.

    But, I know, it's more fun to blame everything on TEH STOOPID EBIL LIBRUHLZ than actually THINK about how/why the American Empire abuses its imperial legions.

    I went to war against communists.  I sat on a WALL preventing them from putting nukes in Cuba.  It was all for NAUGHT cause Trump is getting all COZY and WARM with that Russian Dictator Putin.

    ((hugs)) Thank you once again for your service to our country excon. I'm extremely proud that we are friends. I am appalled at those who worship this Comrade Trump guy who is already selling us out to Russia before he has attained anything. And the FBI aiding him in his quest? This is NOT the America my parents immigrated to and it sure as he** ain't the same America where I was born. I am furious/livid/incensed at how little  Trump and his supporters think of MY COUNTRY!.     I dunno HOW you missed it, but he said the military was a disaster, and his campaign slogan INDICATES that America ain't so hot..  In my book, that's DEMEANING.
